San Martin, Ca. - LIVE SCORING

Charlotte 49ers sophomore Olafur Loftsson shot two-under par 70 and senior all-America Corey Nagy added a one-under par 71 to lead the 49ers into ninth-place after one round of the Gifford Collegiate at CordeValle.

The 49ers shot three-over par 363 to fall 13 strokes off the pace of the leader Duke (-10, 350). The Blue Devils lead Lamar and Oklahoma State (-8, 352) by two strokes.

The format for the Gifford Collegiate at CordeValle calls for six player line-ups with the top five scorers counting.

Freshman Simon St-Louis shot one-over par, 73 and junior Will Golden shot two-over par, 74. Both Ryan Wilson and Andy Sajevic carded rounds of +3, 75.

Round two will be played Tuesday with the third and final round slated for Wednesday.
