Men's Soccer Alumni Day Slated for September 6th

Charlotte, NC - Charlotte 49ers Men's Soccer Head Coach Jeremy Gunn is proud to announce plans for the program's annual alumni day. The festivities will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2008.
"Our schedule gave us an open weekend to fill so it was a perfect opportunity to get the team an extra game, while continuing to build a strong relationship with our alumni. While I am completely focused on the future here at Charlotte, I feel it is important to share the program's rich history with our current crop of players. Our alums have been successful as either professional players or in the business world, and so there experience at Charlotte will be invaluable to our young squad. I am hopeful that the alums can have a great time congregating, while getting to know our exciting 2008 squad."
Festivities begin with a Par Three Golf challenge at Paradise Island at 10:00am on September 6th with the current 49ers men's soccer team and alumni.
At 4:30pm their will be an old school Alumni vs Alumni game at Transamerica Field.
Beginning at 6:00pm the 2008 Charlotte 49ers Men's Soccer team will take on the Alumni Dream Team at Transamerica Field.
The day will wrap up on campus with a post game dinner in the Transamerica Field Hospitality Room beginning at 8:00pm.

Post-Game Dinner at the Hospitality Room at Transamerica Field - 8:00pm
Social gathering uptown at Connolly's/Madison's - 10:00pm
