Athens, Ga. - Charlotte's men's tennis team went 2-1 in singles play in its final consolation matches at the Southern Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament at the University of Georgia this weekend.

Jesse Hutchinson got his second singles win of the weekend and dominated Aroon Khatter of Jacksonville with a 6-2, 6-1 victory, while sophomore Moritz Bernhoerster also won his second singles match, though he had early issues with Central Florida's Joe Delink, but put him away 7-5, 6-0.

In other action from Sunday, Vanderbilt's Charlie Jones defeated Charlotte's Michael Anders 6-1, 6-4.

Freshman Charles Martin-Le Camp also finished 2-1 in singles play over the weekend.

The men head to Chapel Hill for the UNC Fall Invitational, beginning Friday.
