Hutchinson Wins Sunday in Bracket Final at Chapel Hill

Chapel Hill, N.C. - Jesse Hutchinson won the "D" Singles bracket at the UNC Fall Invitational men's tennis tournament in Chapel Hill over the weekend. He had to win four matches, including the final, which he did in a battle, 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 on Sunday over Sang of North Florida.
Sophomore Moritz Bernhoerster fell Sunday in his bracket final match to Dorian Sovic of Coastal Carolina 6-2, 6-1 after three tough matches, two going three sets.
"We had a great tournament," said Niners head coach Jesse played well against some tough opponents and won his first tournament finals. After a couple of tough matches on Saturday, Moritz played well on Sunday and came up short. After not getting a lot of court time this summer with injury, he had things going well on Saturday. I was pleased with how our guys played."
The 49ers will next take the court on October 9, when they participate in the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta.
