Charlotte has posted a 77-14 record in Halton Arena over the past seven years. During that stretch, the 49ers have made five straight postseason tournament appearances and have posted first-round WNIT victories at home in each of the last two years. Sophomore guard Wendy Stywalt has recently been inserted in the 49ers starting lineup and she has responded with two double-figure scoring games in Charlotte's last three games.

In that game, four Charlotte players scored in double-figures led by Stywalt's 21 points and Gregory's 20 points.
