Gregory, who is second on the team in scoring (10.8 ppg), scored a team game-high 17 points at Fordham. Sophomore guard Wendy Stywalt enters the Richmond game after recording her tenth double-figure scoring game of the season with 13 points at Fordham.

This game will mark the fourth meeting between the two teams. The 49ers have won two of the previous three meetings including a 65-60 win at Richmond in their last meeting, January 18, 2007. In that game, Gregory led the 49ers with 24 points and Burgin recorded her second career double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. The 49ers only loss to Richmond came on the road with an 82-64 loss, February 17, 2006, which ended Charlotte's ten-game A-10 winning streak in 2006.
