Stywalt Leaves 49ers Women's Hoops Program

Stywalt scored 534 points in 61 career games at Charlotte

Charlotte, NC - Charlotte 49ers sophomore guard Wendy Stywalt has left the 49ers women's basketball program and will transfer from the university at the end of the semester.

In her two seasons at Charlotte, Stywalt, averaged 8.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in 61 career games. She scored 534 points and grabbed 296 rebounds with 110 assists in her two seasons with the 49ers. In 2006-07, she was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team after averaging 9.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. This past season, she averaged 7.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in 31 games.
