Last week we prepared for Saint Louis who has in the past been one of our toughest opponents in the conference. Coming off of a big two win weekend we were very confident. Sometimes we get a little too confident and we have to get refocused and realize that every opponent is different and every opponent is tough and any team can beat any other team on any given day. So it was with this attitude, that we played Saint Louis last Saturday night, which was also Parents' Day. My parents couldn't make it but my grandparents were there so they walked out with me.

They are down from New York for over a week because we have two home weekends in a row. Anyway, when the game began we all expected it to be difficult and to be a fight to the end. We came out really strong putting in two goals in the first 13 minutes. We added another goal with less than 10 minutes left in the game making the score 3-0. We played really well together on both sides of the ball. On offense we put together a lot of great combinations and on defense we didn't really let them get good opportunities. I think we only gave up three shots. One of the other great things about this game was the crowd. The crowd was huge, I think there were over 1000 people there. It was great to see so many people supporting us, so thanks to all the fans who came out. Keep on coming. This weekend we take on Temple on Friday and Saint Joseph's on Sunday at home. Both teams have been doing really well so these games should be good. Hope to see you there!
