High Point, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers women's tennis team won their second match in a many days, upending High Point at HPU 5-2 Monday afternoon. The game was a make-up date after last week's rainout. Charlotte improves to a 3-2 winning mark, with HPU dropping to 304 this spring.
The Niners swept the doubles matches to earn the first point. It was the third straight win for each of the Niners' three doubles teams (results listed below). Charlotte then won four of six singles matches to secure the win.
Charlotte heads to Johnson City, Tennessee for a pair of matches this week. The Niners will take on East Tennessee State Friday morning at 9 a.m.
