Winston-Salem, N.C. - Charlotte's pair of participants in the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Carolinas Regional Tournament was ousted in straight sets in their opening matches on Friday at Wake Forest.
Sophomore Andrea Rivera fell to Jelena Durisic of North Carolina 6-2, 6-3, while freshman Alex Zinn lost to Zoe DeBruycker, also of North Carolina, by a 6-2, 6-0 result.
The team will compete at the UNC Wilmington Invitational beginning Friday and into the weekend for the final action of the fall.
