Garza Fires 79 for Fourth-Place Tie with One Round Remaining

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- On a cold and windy Monday morning, North Carolina Central University junior Chris Winters shot a 77 (+6) to position himself second on the leaderboard after round one of the 2008 Winston-Salem State University Golf Invitational at Winston-Lake Golf Course.

NCCU junior transfer Josue Garza is in a fourth-place tie after posting a 79 (+8) on opening day.

The Eagles are currently in fourth place with a team score of 389, and will be looking to climb the standings in the second and final round Tuesday.
