FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - North Carolina Central University committed 30 turnovers during its 17th road loss of the season, a 79-64 setback at former CIAA rival Fayetteville State University inside Capel Arena in Fayetteville, N.C. FSU (14-8) turned the Lady Eagles' 30 turnovers into 26 points and scored 29 points on 41 free throw attempts, the most by an NCCU opponent this season. Four Lady Broncos scored in double-figures, led by a game-high 25 points by Leticia Dickson. NCCU (4-19) was paced by Latoya Bennett with 14 points and 12 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season. Tonia Roundtree added 13 points for the Lady Eagles, while Angelica Boles came off the bench for 10 points and six boards. |
