NCCU bowling team earns four wins over weekend.



Blacknell led team with 758 pinfall.

The North Carolina Central University bowling team finished with a 4-11 record this past weekend at the fourth annual Releaser's NCAA Bowling Invitational hosted by Florida A&M, in Tallahassee, Fl.

The Lady Eagles (8-40) posted a 1-4 record on Friday, by defeating Norfolk St. NCCU posted 2-3 record in Saturday's team games with wins over North Carolina A&T, and Winston-Salem State. On the final day competition NCCU defeated North Carolina A&T to finish the day at 1-4.

LaTia Blacknell was the Lady Eagles' top bowler with a 758 pinfall (151 Avg.), followed by Jebria Buntyn, who knocked down a total of 751 pins (150.2 Avg.) for the Lady Eagles.
