The Delaware State University Hornets banged out three home runs to defeat the Lady Eagles of North Carolina Central University 8-0 and 8-3.

In game one, the Hornets took a 5-0 lead on a Sha Tabor home run to center field. The Hornets put together three-run innings in the second and fifth featuring home runs by Demers and Waters.

In game two, the Lady Eagles Sophia Blue blasted a triple and Ashanti Stroud brought her home with a single, as NCCU cut the deficit to 5-3 in the bottom of the fifth. DSU use their batting and defense to hold off NCCU with a final score of 8-3.

Stacey Greene struck out three DSU batters in the game two loss.
