Complete Big Sky release
OGDEN, Utah -- The Big Sky Conference announced today members of its 2008 Spring All-Academic teams, and Northern Colorado student-athletes were well-represented.
In all, 31 members of the Bears' men's and women's tennis, men's and women's outdoor track and field and women's golf teams were honored for the excellence this spring in the classroom.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have participated in at least half of their team's competitions this spring, achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) and have completed at least one academic term at their current institution.
Northern Colorado's women's track and field team, with 16 selections, had more student-athletes honored this team than any other of the Bears' spring programs.
