LAWRENCE, Kan. -- A rain system moving across the Midwest has moved Northern Colorado's scheduled baseball game Tuesday, April 8, at the University of Kansas to Wednesday, April 9. The Bears and the Jayhawks will now play a doubleheader beginning at noon Wednesday at Hoglund Ballpark.

This is the second straight year weather has forced a change in plans between Kansas (19-16) and Northern Colorado (8-22). The teams split a doubleheader last season in Lawrence.

The Bears will continue their home schedule at 2 p.m Friday, April 11, against Montana State University-Billings. The teams will continue play at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, and at noon on Sunday, April 13.
