LAWRENCE, Kan. -- The rain just won't go away.

A day after Northern Colorado's baseball game with Kansas was postponed and scheduled as a doubleheader for today, Midwest weather struck again. This time, the wet stuff canceled the two-game series between the Jayhawks and the Bears all together.

And the games won't be made up.

This is the second straight year weather has forced a change in plans between Kansas (19-16) and Northern Colorado (8-22). The teams split a doubleheader last season in Lawrence after originally being set to play single games on back-to-back days.

The Bears will be back in action at 2 p.m. Friday, April 11, in Greeley, when they continue their home schedule against Montana State University-Billings. The teams will continue play at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, and at noon on Sunday, April 13.
