Bears, Jayhawks Washed Out
Rain Postpones Bears Baseball Against Jayhawks

Coach Kevin Smallcomb's baseball team just can't seem to catch a break.

Northern Colorado officials announced today that, because of inclement weather and poor field conditions, the Bears' series with Montana State-Billings, originally scheduled to start Friday, April 11, will now not start until Saturday, April 12.

The teams are now scheduled for a doubleheader on Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m., and a single game at noon on Sunday.

Northern Colorado (8-22) hasn't played a baseball game since losing both games of a doubleheader to Dallas Baptist on Saturday, April 5. The Bears were scheduled for a two-game series against Kansas on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 8 and 9, but wet Midwest weather washed out both of those contests.
