GREELEY, Colo. - The Division I Independent Baseball schools released its All-Academic Team and the University of Northern Colorado had three players honored.

Senior Jeff Horn, who graduated with a degree in accounting, senior Chad Murray, a double major in finance and accounting with a minor in Spanish and sophomore Eric Skufca, a business marketing major were all honored on the team.

Northern Colorado had several others eligible for the team, but the nominations were limited to three per institution with a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, at least a sophomore in academic standing and a starter or key reserve on the squad. The Bears also had Anthony Garcia, Erik Hegstad, Andy Mees and Mike Raudenbush eligible to receive the honors.

The Bears finished their season several weeks ago with a 21-33 record and co-champions of the Division I Independent Tournament.
