Mens Golf Finishes 11th at Oregon Duck Invitational



Freshman Alberto Dell'Anna tied for Northern Colorado's lowest score of the tournament.

EUGENE, Ore. - The University of Northern Colorado men's golf team finished action at the Oregon Duck Invitational today placing 11th with a final team score of 958. San Diego State University finished in the top spot with an overall score of 873.

 

The top two scores for the Bears were provided by freshmen Alberto Dell'Anna and Stephen Bidne who tied for 54th place shooting a total of 236. Senior Kyle Burns and Bidne tied for the Bears lowest scores of the tournament with Bidne shooting 75 in the second round and Burns in the third.

 

T.J. Bordeux of the University of the Pacific won the individual title, shooting 210 over the three rounds (68, 68, 72).

 

The Bears will now travel to Scottsdale, Ariz. on April 7 to compete in the Cowboy Classic.
