Weather Moves Bears' Match Against Rams

Karen Groll and Northern Colorado's women's tennis team will now face Colorado State on Tuesday, April 15.

April 9, 2008

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Cold winter weather has forced the postponement of Northern Colorado's women's tennis match Wednesday, April 9, against in-state rival Colorado State.

The match is now scheduled to take place at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, in Fort Collins.

The Bears will now end their regular season against the Rams. They had originally been scheduled to end their regular season against Utah State (Friday, April 11), before taking on Big Sky Conferences teams Weber State (Saturday, April 12) and Idaho State (Sunday, April 13). But today's announcement moves Colorado State to the end of Northern Colorado's regular-season schedule.

The Bears will compete in the Big Sky Conference women's tennis championship from Friday to Saturday, April 25 to 27, in Sacramento, Calif.
