Monogram Club Summer Party and 2008 Riehle Golf Open Set for Late May

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -
Athletics Director Kevin White and his wife Jane will again open the doors to the "White House" for the Monogram Club Summer Party at 6 p.m. May 28 (Wednesday). The event will include cocktails and dinner, and members of the senior administrative staff and Irish head coaches also will be in attendance. The evening precedes the 2008 Riehle Open, set to begin the following morning.
The 2008 Riehle Open will feature a 9 a.m. shotgun start at the Warren Golf Course. Only dues-playing Monogram Club members are eligible to participate. The golf outing is open to the first 144 members who register. Cost for the Riehle Open is $100, due May 9. Monogram Club members can also golf for free at the nine-hole Burke Memorial Golf Course that day but must reserve a tee time by calling 574-631-6425. The Monogram Club will also host a reception for all golfers in the Warren Club House after the event.
Monogram Club members are eligible to receive a discounted rate on rooms at both the Varsity Clubs of America (1-800-946-4822) and Waterford Estates Lodge (1-877-783-8496). Those staying for their alumni reunion later in the week should contact the Alumni Association (574-631-8724) for campus housing.
Members will soon receive a brochure and registration form with details of the event in the mail. Reservations are due by Friday, May 9.
