FRISCO, Tex. - The Southland Conference released their Capital One/Southland Commissioner's Fall Academic Honor Roll on Thursday morning, and Nicholls placed 38 student-athletes on the prestigious list.

"We put a lot of emphasis on academics and improving our APR scores and it is paying dividends," said athletic director Rob Bernardi. "All of the student-athletes are deserving of the recognition because of their strong commitment to academics."

Of the 38 that were on the fall honor roll list, 18 were from football, 12 were from soccer, seven were from volleyball, and one from cross country.
