MACON, Ga. - After strong rainstorms that led to poor field conditions, the first day of the Mercer Wingate Inn Classic Tournament was postponed and play will resume tomorrow.

The Colonels were scheduled to play Austin Peay and Mercer today, but will have to wait until tomorrow to play the Lady Governors at 11 a.m. and the Bears at 3 p.m.

A complete tentative schedule is as follows.

Saturday, February 23

9 a.m. - Western Kentucky vs. Mississippi State

11 a.m. - Austin Peay vs. Nicholls State

1 p.m. - Mercer vs. Western Kentucky

3 p.m. - Mercer vs. Nicholls State

5 p.m. - Mississippi State vs. Austin Peay

Sunday, February 24

8 a.m. - Nicholls State vs. Western Kentucky

10 a.m. - Nicholls State vs. Mississippi State

12 p.m. - Mercer vs. Austin Peay

2 p.m. -- Mercer vs. Mississippi State
