WINTER SPRINGS, Fla.-The Northern Illinois University women's golf team is in ninth place after two rounds at the 33rd Annual Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational hosted by Rollins College. "Kim Hunley was definitely the highlight for us. It's nice to see her back in gear. We just need to work on our second round scores. After getting the 36-hole day out of the way I'm confident we can post an improving score tomorrow." The Huskies shot a two-round total of 653 at Tuscawilla County Club, with sophomore Kim Hunley (Aurora, Ill./West Aurora) leading the way, shooting a 152 (74-78). Abbie Many (Mt. Prospect, Ill./Prospect) is the next highest-finishing Huskie, tied for 44th after scoring a 166 (84-82). Rollins College leads the way after shooting a two-round total of 600. Heather Burgner from Florida Southern is in the lead after shooting a 147 (73-74). The Huskies conclude play tomorrow tee time is set for 7:15 a.m. Central time.
