MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich - The Northern Illinois softball team (5-13) will open Mid-American Conference play with a doubleheader today against Central Michigan (9-11) at 1 p.m. CT instead of playing one game today and one tomorrow. The threat of inclement weather tomorrow caused the teams to get both games in this afternoon.
