The team finished within the top 10 at each contest. Their highest finish was at the John Dallio Memorial (Oct.1-2) in Lemont, Ill., where they took second place honors. Senior Jordan Weber led the Panthers at the tournament with a first-place finish, taking home top honors with a one-over-par score of 217. His outstanding performance also earned him Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week. The Panthers continued their fall success finishing fourth at the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate (Oct. 7-8), led by senior Brook Maher. Maher continually showed improvment throughout the season as he tied for fourth at the Weibring Intercollegiate. Maher recorded his lowest round of the fall season at the invite, with a second-round score of 71. UNI also saw success at the Agua-Caliente Air Force Invite (Nov. 10-11) in Palm Springs, Calif. The team finished in third place, propelled by top-10 finishes from Weber, Blake Hibben, and Troy Hoffman. Weber finished in seventh place and fired a season-low 64 with an all-around score of 198, 18 strokes under par. His performance earned him the honor of MVC Golfer of the Week for the second time during the fall season. Hibben and Hoffman also paced the Panthers, tying for eighth place with identical scores of 200. The Panthers look to continue their success into the spring season with strong performances from Weber, Maher and senior Andy White. Hibben and Hoffman will also play key roles and junior Eric Sipple and sophomore Kyle Bermel will battle to get into the top five. LOOKING AT THE WEEK AHEAD The Panther men head south to Goodyear, Ariz., to compete in the Ron Moore Invitational.
