Wildcats Return to Campus for Saturday Night Game against Seton Hall

Feb. 8, 2008

Complete Game Notes

VILLANOVA, Pa.-- Villanova (13-8, 3-6 Big East) plays its first home game on campus since January 16 when it hosts Seton Hall (15-8, 5-5 Big East) on Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Pavilion. The game will be telecast live on ESPNU. Click on the link at the top of this release to access complete game notes. Below are some top storylines for Villanova entering Saturday's game.

Turnovers proved costly to Villanova in Monday night's loss at Saint Joseph's. The Wildcats commited 17 turnovers and the Hawks owned a 25-10 advantage in points off turnovers in the 77-55 defeat at the Palestra. On the season Villanova has forced 70 more turnovers than it has commited.

Villanova returns to the friendly surroundings of the Pavilion searching for its first win since Jan. 19 at Syracuse. The Wildcats last were on the Pavilion court for a game on Jan. 16 when they rallied from a 16-point first half deficit to defeat DePaul 76-69. The `Cats have claimed 12 of the 17 meetings played against Seton Hall at the Pavilion.

Casiem Drummond took another step forward in his recovery from a stress fracture in his right ankle that cost him the better part of six weeks of the season. The 6-10 sophomore center returned to the starting lineup for the first time since early December against Saint Joseph's, contributing six points and four rebounds.

This marks the second time in as many weeks that the `Cats will face a pair of games within 72 hours of one another. VU travels to Georgetown to face the Hoyas as part of Rivalry Week on Monday (7:00 p.m./ESPN).

Villanova owns a 12-5 all-time record at the Pavilion against Seton Hall, but the Pirates have not won in the building since 1994.
