VILLANOVA, Pa. - Junior catcher Meghan Morese was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the week of April 14, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.

Morese had 19 at-bats, two runs, seven hits, three RBI, two doubles, one triple and one home run. She averaged .375 in six games during the week.

Morese had two hits in the Wildcats' 4-1 victory at Notre Dame in game one of a doubleheader on Sunday. Villanova snapped the Fighting Irish's eight-game win streak. She also went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run; though VU lost in game two.

This is the first conference honor of the season for Morese.

The Wildcats will host Penn on Tuesday, April 15 to open up a 10-game homestand. The first pitch is set for 2:30 p.m.
