VILLANOVA, Pa. - Senior Jackie Dempsey was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the week of April 28 as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Dempsey had 21 at-bats, connecting on nine hits, for four runs with one RBI, averaging .429. She hit one triple and stole two bases.

In the Wildcats' 3-1 victory over St. John's on Sunday, April 27, Dempsey went 2-for-3 with two runs.

This is the first conference honor of the season for Dempsey and the fourth for Villanova.

The Wildcats conclude the conference portion of their schedule hosting Rutgers on Tuesday, April 29. The doubleheader begins at 2:30 p.m.
