EVANSTON, Ill. -- After two weekends off during winter quarter finals, Northwestern resumes action this Wednesday through Thursday, March 26-27, at the 62nd Western Intercollegiate in Santa Cruz, Calif.

The Wildcats are one of 16 teams in this year's field, which features three teams ranked in the March 19 Golfstat top-50, including No. 23 Texas Tech and No. 25 Michigan State. Defending champion Purdue is not among the field for this year's event.

The Western Intercollegiate is held at the Alister MacKenzie designed, par-70 Pasatiempo Golf Club. Teams will play 36 holes Wednesday, March 26, before completing the 54-hole tournament with the final round on Thursday. Both days feature 10 a.m. CT (8 a.m. local) shotgun starts.
