ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio Bobcat Club is proud to announce the launch of the Ohio Bobcat Club Young Alumni Program.

Graduates from the classes of 2006, 2007 and 2008 are eligible to join the Ohio Bobcat Club at a "Young Alumni" rate and begin to enjoy the benefits of being an Ohio Bobcat Club member.   

"The Young Alumni Program is a great opportunity for recent graduates to continue to show their support of Ohio Athletics," said Maura Murphy, Director of the Ohio Bobcat Club. "We recognize that the initial years of starting a career can be challenging. We want to give our young alumni the opportunity to still show their support and pride in Ohio Athletics at a level that will not hinder them financially." 

Members will receive all benefits currently available to Ohio Bobcat Club members at the $100 level.  Some of the benefits include, but are not limited to: being eligible to purchase $35.00 young alumni football season tickets, priority seating for football and men's basketball season tickets, priority ticket purchasing for all bowl games, MAC and NCAA Tournaments, Ohio Bobcat Club priority points, and e-mail updates. 

In addition to these benefits, Young Alumni members will be eligible to purchase tickets to the 2008 Ohio vs. Ohio State football game in Columbus, Ohio. Tickets are only available to members of the Ohio Bobcat Club. The deadline to qualify for access to Ohio State football tickets is July 25, 2008. 

Rates for graduates eligible to join the Young Alumni Program are as follows: $25 for the class of 2008, $50 for the class of 2007 and $75 for the class of 2006.
