NASHPORT, Ohio-The Ohio men's golf team stands fourth after three rounds at the 2008 MAC Championship, which is being played at the Longaberger Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.

 

The Bobcats have posted a three-round total of 901 (+37, 294-299-308) and are 22 shots behind first-place Kent State, which has carded an 879 (+15, 302-284-293).

 

Ohio sophomore Tim Gusweiler (Loveland, Ohio) is just three shots adrift of the individual lead, as he has posted a three-round total of 218 (+2, 70-76-72). Sophomore Chad Warmbein (McMurray, Pa.) tallied a 229 (+13, 74-78-77), while freshman Mark Reinhold (Cincinnati, Ohio; +14, 79-73-78) and junior James Ellis (McMurray, Pa.; +14, 76-73-81) are each a shot behind him. Sophomore Stewart Jamieson (Worthington, Ohio) rounds out the squad with a total of 236 (+20, 74-77-85).


 

 

 

Gusweiler is tied for first in pars (37) and second in par-3 scoring at 3.08 (+1), while Reinhold tallied one of the tournament's nine eagles.

 

Colin Clemente of Akron holds the overall lead with a 1-under total of 215 (72-73-70).

 

The Bobcats will begin the fourth round of play Sunday, teeing off between 8:45 a.m.-9:21.
