Head Coach Sylvia Crawley
Opening Statement: "I was vey disappointed with today's game. I thought Eastern Michigan gave a hard push and we didn't fight back towards the end. We scored 21 points in the second half and didn't make big shots to win the ballgame."

On the team struggling in the second half
"Late in the second half Eastern Michigan worked hard to get shots. We let them back into the ballgame. It is hard to turn the ball over 21 times and win a ballgame. Late in the second half we really turned the ball over a lot. This is a tough loss, but what I love about this team is that they are fierce competitors. They hate to lose, so this will burn with them for awhile. This is the feeling that will motivate them to win the next game."

On learning from the loss to Eastern Michigan
"The good thing is that this is a team that can do better. We will watch film and see exactly what happened and what we can do differently and make those corrections for our game on Wednesday. We just have to shake this one off. This was not Ohio basketball. We will play better Ohio basketball in the next game.

On wearing the pink uniforms
"The team chose to wear the pink uniforms. I was not going to force them to do that. It is something that they wanted to do. I think it is great that they would want to support this national program."

Guard Jenny Poff
On dealing with a tough loss
"It's hard to stomach, but Eastern kicked it in. The last four minutes they kicked it in. We just didn't match their intensity. It hurts. We need to pick up our defensive pressure. We let their three-point shooters get wide open looks. We need to get out in passing lanes, increase our intensity. That's what we need to work on.

On giving up a big lead in the first half
"I don't think it was anything intentional. They are a tough team and we knew they were going to come back and do all they could to minimize our lead. When they brought it, we didn't bring it."

Center Chandra Myers
On dealing with a tough loss
"It came down to the last few minutes of the game, but they definitely out-worked us in those last few minutes. I think they wanted it more it seemed.
