Head Coach Sylvia Crawley
Opening Statement:
"I just wanted our seniors to win on their home court in their last home game. I thought the difference in the game was free throws. Bowling Green was twenty for twenty eight, we were five for ten. They did a better job of attacking the basket and getting themselves to the free throw line. Some of those free throws came at the end of the game. For the most part I thought our players fought hard."

On the team's struggle to stop Bowling Green's senior Kate Achter:
"Achter is a very good player. She knows how to use the screen. She is the queen of pick and roll. I thought she did a great job of leading her team tonight. She played like a seasoned veteran."

On the team struggling to get stops late in the second half:
"We tried to press late in the game because Achter was just walking it up the floor and eating time on the clock. We wanted to try to get them to speed up the game and not use so much time. Chandra Myers played very well tonight inside, and this team knows I like to play inside-out. I thought we went away from that late in the second half. We tried to get some plays where we were attacking, but we still need to throw the ball inside when we are doing that. Chandra Myers was very assertive tonight, when we didn't throw it in to her, she was crashing the boards and getting put backs."

On losing four of five conference games at home:
"I do not know; if I knew I would have changed it by now. Fortunately for us, we are a better road team. We will be hitting the road to play three away games in five days. Hopefully that will be good for us. We have Kent State on Saturday, Northern Illinois on Monday and Miami on Wednesday. We just have to keep pushing on.

On Bowling Green's tough defense on senior Lauren Kohn:
"We knew they would key in on Lauren Kohn. She leads our team in scoring and is second in rebounding. Lauren Kohn just needs to continue to watch film so she can see her scoring opportunities and what teams are doing to stop her. It is just one of those times where we have to get the ball inside, hope they collapse, relocate and move off the ball. That is the one thing we did not do well tonight. We passed the ball inside and watched Chandra Myers."

On the team's performance:
I thought that our effort was better. I thought that we played hard throughout the game. We knew that it was going to be a game of ups and downs; they were going to make some runs, we were going to make some runs. But we could never quite match their runs. We weren't able to execute down the stretch.

On Bowling Green's performance:
Bowling Green is a team that plays very good help-side team defense. In order to break that down, it's a lot of movement on the offense and tonight we just didn't execute the way that we should have.

On her time at Ohio:
It's been wonderful. After the last game, I almost wish that I would have been here for four years so that I could have enjoyed the experience more. I can't thank my teammates, coaches, everyone in the athletic department and the fans enough for the memories that I have made.

On team injuries:
We all have some nagging injuries, but we are going to be alright. We are going to push through. This upcoming week is going to be really tough...we are going to have to be physically tough and mentally tough; it's just something that we are going to have to push through and hopefully get these next three wins on the road.
