Day 2 Results

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.-The Ohio women's golf squad shot its best round of three played so far at the MAC Championship to climb to sixth at the Brickyard Crossing course in Indianapolis, Ind.

 

Ohio shot a 321 in the third round and is now +118 with a total of 982. Kent State has opened up a 35-shot lead and is 33 over par with a total of 897.

 

Junior Lindsay Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) shot the best round of the day for the Bobcats with a 77 and she is currently 31st with a three-round total of 251 (84-90-77). Freshman Erin Cahill (Hilliard, Ohio) is still Ohio's overall leader with a total of 239, while sophomore Colleen Lienesch (Centerville, Ohio) is sitting on a score of 244 (80-84-80). Senior Katie Stafford (Phoenix, Az.) has posted a 249 (82-83-84) thus far, while sophomore Lauren Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) rounds out the squad with a score of 261 (83-90-88).


 

 

 

Kirby Dreher of Kent State is currently the overall individual leader with a six-over total of 222 (74-74-74). All five Golden Flashes are in the top nine individually.

 

The final round of play will be played Sunday.
