Ohio Volleyball 2008 Summer Camp Brochure

ATHENS, Ohio - The five-time defending MAC Champion Ohio volleyball team and Head Coach Ryan Theis have announced the dates and times for the team's 2008 summer volleyball camps for grades 6-12. The individual camp will take place July 11-13 and the team camp will be held July 14-16.

Camp participants will get one-on-one instruction from Theis and the Ohio volleyball coaching staff, as well as the Bobcat players. Participants will learn how to become a stronger passer, server, blocker, and defensive and offensive player. The camp is geared towards better preparing the participants mentally and physically to compete at a new level of volleyball.

The individual camp will include breakfast, lunch and dinner with three separate sessions throughout each day focusing on defense, offense and overall skills. The charge for the individual camp is $220 for a commuter and $280 for those wishing to stay overnight.

The team camp events include two sessions of drills/individual skills, three sessions of competition, one session of team building activities, a coach's forum, and a team tournament. The cost for the team camp is $180 per commuter participant and $230 per resident camper. Team coaches may attend the camp free of charge.
