NORFOLK, VA-- The Baseball Monarchs play the Norfolk Tides in the Annual Bank of the Commonwealth Baseball Scholarship Game at Harbor
Park Tuesday night at 7:15.
Tickets for the event are $3.00 for children, and ODU students and $5.00 for adults.
The Tides are the AAA affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Proceeds from
the exhibition will benefit the Intercollegiate Foundation for baseball
scholarships.
In other news, Monarch senior righthander Ryan Bergh was named CAA Pitcher of the Week after tossing a four-hit, 3-1 complete game victory
over George Mason Sunday. Bergh has now threw two straight complete game
victories. He is now 3-2 overall with a 2.88 ERA.
The Monarchs return to collegiate action on Wednesday night when they
host VMI at 6 p.m., the defending CAA Tournament champion VCU comes to
town for a three-game weekend series beginning Friday night at 7 p.m.
