OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY: (2008-2009) Participated in five cross country competitions... helped the team tie for first with No. 1 Oregon at the Oregon Open... helped the team to a second place finish at the Auburn Invitational and a third place finish at the Sundodger Invitational... participated at the Pac-10 Championships... earned Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention. (2007-2008) In track competed in nine events including the Pac-10 Championships in the 1,500-meters... ran to a first place finish in the 800-meters at the Western Oregon Twilight... ran the seventh fastest 1,500-meters in school history (4:32.78) at the Oregon Relays... earned Pac-10 All-Academic track honorable mention... competed in four cross country events... helped the team to a second place finish at the Mike Hodges Invitational... ran at the Pacific-10 cross country Championships... finished 18th individually at the Hawkeye Invitational... earned Pac-10 cross country All-Academic honorable mention. (2005-2006) In track, she improved her time from her senior year in high school from 4:57 in the 1,500-meters to 4:39 and qualified to run in the Pac-10 Championships as a true freshman.

SHELDON HIGH SCHOOL: Ran cross country and track all four years ... received All-League honors in cross country three times ... former prep teammates currently running collegiately: Casey Masterson (OSU XC/Track), Jeff Randall (Columbia University XC/track), Ginny Butt (Seattle University XC/track) a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Majoring in art; considering a career in graphic design... parents are Tom and Jill... father is an grocery store director, mother works as a credit union teller... has three sisters, Angela Witkin(28), Emily Roper (25) and Heather Thomson (18)... sister Angela graduated from OSU and sister Heather is currently attending... mother competed in field hockey at Oregon in 1976... hobbies include baking, nature and art... favorite athletes are Ryan and Sara Hall... biggest athletic thrill was "outkicking a rival from 70 meters behind in the homestretch of a 1,500-meter championship"... chose OSU for the opportunity to run collegiately.
