Pacific Baseball's Signing Class for 2008-09 Grows to Five With Addition of Matt Foat

Stockton, Calif. - Pacific Baseball head coach Ed Sprague has announced the signing of Matt Foat to a national letter of intent for the 2008-09 season. Foat joins Ron Burton Jr., Kyle O'Neill, Josh Simms and Jacob Sylvester as Pacific's class for next season expands to five.
Foat is a 6-0 senior at Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs, Calif. Matt is hitting .532 with 26 RBI, 10 doubles, four home runs and is a perfect 14 of 14 in stolen bases attempted in 2008.
"Foat is a good hitter that can drive the ball to all fields," said Sprague. "We look for him to contribute for us right away."
