Troyer Earns Big West Player of the Week Honors

Irvine, Calif. - University of the Pacific junior guard Chad Troyer (Seattle, Wash.) was named Big West Conference Player of the Week for his performance last week against UC Santa Barbara.
Chad scored a career-high 27 points to lead the Tigers to a 71-58 victory at UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 24. He scored 21 points in the second half, including 4-of-4 from three point range in the final 20 minutes. He was also 7-of-9 from the free throw line, both numbers are career highs as well. The six three-pointers Troyer hit tied a career high for the third time.
It is the first weekly honor of Troyer's career and the fourth time a Tiger has earned the award this season.
The Tigers are in action tonight against Cal Poly on ESPN2 with a home game at 8:00 p.m.
