Tigers Add One More to the Squad, Sign Chris Sullivan for 2008-2009 season

Stockton, Calif.- The Pacific men's volleyball team and head coach Joe Wortmann announced the signing of recruit Chris Sullivan out of La Canada, Calif. The 6'7" Middle Blocker signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Tigers next season.

Sullivan will graduate from La Canada High School in La Canada, Calif. this June, where he has been a critical part in his high school team's success. Sullivan is a three-time Academic Team Honorable Mention, as well as an All-Rio Hondo League 2nd Team honoree.

Chris played club volleyball for Santa Monica Volleyball Club, for five years, where he was a middle hitter.

A leader on the court as well, Sullivan has received the Team Dedication Award, as well as being voted Team Captain by his peers. Sullivan maintains a 3.6 GPA off the court as well.

"Chris is a welcomed addition to our middle blocking corps of players" said Wortmann, "we look forward to his contributions, and he will challenge for playing time next season."
