This Week, Tigers Play For Tournament Positioning Against UC Davis:
With just two weeks left in the Big West regular season the Tigers are in prime position to grab the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Big West tournament and the first round bye that comes along with that seed. Pacific is coming off of a big win at Cal Poly last week that jumped the Tigers from sixth place into fourth place alone. Up next for the Tigers is a visit from local rival UC Davis which enters the week riding a seven game winning streak and the momentum from upsetting No. 1 seed UC Santa Barbara, pinning the first loss on the Gauchos this season. The Aggies are looking to take home the tournament's No. 2 seed in the tournament with a pair of wins to end their season. The last time the two teams met, UC Davis edged out Pacific in Davis, 58-54, to begin their seven game winning streak.
