Hello Tiger Fans! It's been a very hectic and crazy time for all of us! No worries, I will let you know what is going on.

Our second conference series was against Riverside. We split the games on Saturday, which is much better than losing both! We had some crucial errors in the first game that proved to be costly, but we came back in the second game and played some really good Pacific softball. I threw the second game, and it was so incredibly hot! I was very excited to get out of my sticky uniform later that day! The night Lauren Sandelin, my mom, dad and I went to a beautiful mission and had a wonderful dinner. It was amazing and we walked around and explored the mission. Coach let's all of the players go with their families for dinner after we play and gives us a curfew. This is really nice because it allows us stay close with our families who travel all over to watch us play.

Sunday was a tough day. We lost to Riverside, and this was the first time in school history that we had ever lost a conference series to them. Although that is frustrating and irritating, it can't be changed and it's really important to focus on the future. Mikel Candrea preaches to us during practice and games that we can't stress or worry about things that we can't change or have no control over. This is one of those things. It's important to focus on the now and the future and control the factors and outcomes that we can control.

Well, I think that wraps up that weekend. We were very glad to get on the bus and leave Riverside! Talk to you soon!
