Jorgensen's Journal

Good afternoon Tiger fans!

This weekend we played Fullerton. This was a really tough weekend for us. We just couldn't seem to get it together enough to get a win, and everyone was really frustrated. Nothing seemed to click, and everyone felt out of sync.

When that happens, sometimes the best remedy is a day off to clear the mind and the soul of the frustration and upset feeling that lingers after a rough weekend. Everyone needed a day off in order to get back on track and re-focus.

One thing that I have had to learn how to do throughout this season is find the small positives and victories in what ever you do. This game is a game of failure, and it's important to find the successes in those failures. At the plate, you are going to fail 7 out of 10 times, and still be hitting .300, which is really good! I have found that focusing on how I feel during those failures can be my successes. It's important that no matter what you do or what happens, keep working hard and keep trying. Nothing comes easy in this game, and the more work and focus you put into it, the more it gives back to you. The same lesson can be applied to life as well! It's kind of scary to think that sooner than later I am going to be entering the real world!

Thanks for listening Tiger fans, and I will get back to you soon!
