Pacific Suffers 5-2 Loss to #58 University of Oregon

Eugene, Ore. - The Pacific women's tennis team dropped to 2-4 on the season after being defeated 5-2 by the #58 University of Oregon Ducks on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Student Tennis Center.
Several Tigers played well on Sunday, including freshman Olga Gumenyuk (Kiev, Ukraine), who defeated Carmen Seremeta at the No. 3 position 1-6, 6-4, 6-2. Sophomore Sasha Fisher (Southampton, Bermuda) also came away with a victory over Mimi Songsermsawas in the No. 6 spot, 7-6 (4), 6-4. The Tigers return to action at home in Stockton, Calif. at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts on Monday Feb. 18th at 12 p.m. The Tigers host UC Davis in their first Big West Conference match of the season.
