Women's Volleyball to Host Pacific Spring Tournament

Stockton, Calif.- The Pacific women's volleyball team and head coach Charlie Wade announced the lineup for the Pacific Spring Tournament to be held on April 5th, 2008 in the Alex G. Spanos Center.
The tournament will feature several Nothern California teams including Sonoma State, Chico State, San Jose State, Nevada, and fellow Big West opponent UC Davis. The scrimmage style tournament will provide all the teams with an opportunity to work out their off-season kinks, and work on their game plans.
Last time the Tigers took the floor, they won a five game thriller against Cincinnati to take home the 29th Annual Community Bankers Classic Title on Nov. 24, 2007.
Sophomore transfer Mallori Gibson (Bakersfield, Calif.) will make her Pacific debut when Pacific takes the floor for the first time.
Pacific will play their first match at 9:00am against Sonoma State on April 5th at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
