The University of Pittsburgh Athletic Department and the PITT Varsity Letter Club welcomed home Wrestling alumni and their families for the annual Wrestling Alumni Reunion on Saturday, February 23rd during the Pitt Wrestling match versus Edinboro. The reunion was a great opportunity for the former student-athletes to reconnect with their former teammates, the University, and the Athletic Department. Friends and teammates spanning every decade of Pitt Wrestling from the 1940s to the 2000s were reunited in a family atmosphere that saw not only teammates reconnecting, but their families coming together in celebration. The attendees were welcomed with a reception and dinner in the Fitzgerald Field House. The group was greeted by Pitt Athletic Director Steve Pederson, Coach Rande Stottlemyer, and PITT Varsity Letter Club Coordinator Dan Stephens. The event was concluded with the recognition of all attendees at mid-mat before the wrestling match against Edinboro.
