PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College junior goalkeeper Robert Bryan (Apex, N.C.) was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Defensive Player of the Week for men's lacrosse on Monday, March 17. It marks the first time in Bryan's career he has earned the weekly honor.

Last week, Bryan led the Friars to a 1-1 record. On March 11, he posted a season-high 12 saves on 31 shots against No. 3 North Carolina. He also collected five groundballs in the 8-6 loss.
