PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College's Robert Bryan (Apex, N.C.) was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Defensive Player of the Week for men's lacrosse on Monday, March 31. It marks the second time in three weeks that Bryan has earned the league's weekly defensive honor. On March 29, Bryan led the Friars to a 4-3 victory over Siena, in four overtimes, on the Saint's home field in Loudonville, N.Y. Siena entered the game averaging a league-best 13.00 goals per game and Bryan allowed just three goals in 75:58 minutes of action between the pipes.
